COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus police say a man accused of raping three women may have assaulted others, and they are hoping other possible victims come forward.
On Wednesday, Philip Daniels of Columbus was arraigned on three counts of rape, four counts of kidnapping, aggravated burglary and strangulation.
His sex crimes come with a sexual violent predator specification.
According to a search warrant obtained by 10TV, police say in August of last year, Daniels posed as a maintenance worker at a northeast Columbus apartment and raped a woman. The victim told police he displayed a gun.
According to the indictment, Daniels' sexual crimes started Aug. 16, 2024, and his latest crime happened Oct. 2.
