GREAT FALLS — Tommy Michael Vanhoose reached a plea agreement earlier this month and has agreed to plead guilty to one charge of submitting a false tax return. In exchange, prosecutors have dropped four other charges of submitting a false tax return.

In 2023, VanHoose owned and operated Highwood Creek Outfitters LLC, a firearms distributor and shooting range in Great Falls. VanHoose, through a real estate agent, had listed the business for sale for $1,750,000.
