Toys 'R' Us announced on Oct. 16 plans to open more than 30 locations in the U.S. for winter holiday season.

The retailer will open a number of permanent and temporary, seasonal stores in select locations.

This is being done by Toys 'R' Us in an attempt to boost sales during this year's holiday season.
