PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth police are conducting a death investigation after a body was located near Tyre Neck Road.

Police were on scene Wednesday after the unidentified victim was located there, according to Portsmouth Police Department spokeswoman Elexcia Washington.

There was no further information available on Wednesday afternoon.
