Deborra-Lee Furness is reportedly preparing to release a "bold and emotional" memoir following her split from ex-husband Hugh Jackman.
The Australian actress was spotted meeting with a leading publisher in Midtown Manhattan earlier this week, according to celebrity reporter Rob Shuter.
A publishing insider told Shuter that Furness "was all smiles" as she left the building, though the meeting "looked serious."
Friends of the Force of Nature star said multiple publishers are competing for her story- a "bold, emotional memoir about love, identity, and starting over."
"She's reclaiming her voice," one friend said.
"She spent years being known as Hugh's wife. Now she wants to be known for her truth."
