Former Giants tight end Darren Waller has posted a reflective message on Instagram after being placed on injured reserve by the Miami Dolphins , just weeks after his promising return to football.

Waller was placed on injured reserve Wednesday after suffering a pectoral injury during the second quarter of last Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns . Waller was initially ruled questionable to return but was later ruled out. While the initial diagnosis looked promising for Waller to return, the Dolphins placed him on injured reserve, he won’t be eligible to return until Nov. 30 against the New Orleans Saints.
