This week’s Kentucky High School Football Media Poll features a new No. 1 team in Class 5A.
Woodford County took the top spot after knocking off previous No. 1 Scott County 57-50 on Friday.
The Yellow Jackets (7-1) got a big game from junior Darrian Tomlin , who rushed for 188 yards and scored five touchdowns. Woodford County’s lone loss this season came to Munford (Tennessee) 49-35 on Sept. 12.
Trinity (Class 6A), Boyle County (4A), Christian Academy (3A), Beechwood (2A) and Kentucky Country Day (A) kept the No. 1 spots in their respective classes.
