New Delhi, Oct 23: Maruti Suzuki India Limited has achieved a milestone by exporting the Jimny 5-door SUV from India, surpassing a cumulative export of 1 lakh units.

The SUV, manufactured in India, has been shipped across over 100 countries, including Japan, Mexico, and Australia. The Jimny 5-door, built for performance, combines a ladder-frame chassis with Suzuki’s ALLGRIP PRO (4WD) for superior off-road dynamics and stability.

It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and appeals to both rugged terrain drivers and global customers. The company’s year-on-year rise in exports reflects customer trust and India’s rise as a hub for world-class automobile manufacturing.

The Jimny, along with 16 other models, stands as a shining example of ‘Make in India for the World’.
