ORLANDO, FLA. (WSVN) - Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier was arrested in Orlando as part of a federal investigation concerning sports betting, according to ESPN sources.
Rozier was reportedly taken into custody at his hotel, early Thursday morning.
ESPN sources said the arrest was made in connection to an FBI sports betting investigation.
Rozier’s arrest comes after the Heat played a game against the Orlando Magic, Wednesday night. The Magic won 125-121 .
The Eastern District of New York and FBI director Kash Patel are expected to hold a press conference at 10 a.m. to announce arrests and further details about the investigation.
