MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - The City of Manitou Springs announced the road closures taking place Saturday for the 31st Annual Emma Crawford Coffin Races.

Manitou Avenue will be closed from Old Man’s Trail to the Ruxton Avenue Roundabout from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. All side streets within this section will be closed one block before intersecting with Manitou Avenue.

Manitou Avenue will remain closed from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastbound traffic will be permitted beginning at Pawnee Avenue, with access also available via Pawnee Avenue, Deer Path Avenue, and S Path.

To minimize congestion, the city encourages attendees to use the following parking and transit options:

Paid parking at the Dillon Mobility Lot (134 Manitou Ave) and shuttle using Mountain Metropolitan Transit to Hiawatha Garden
