(KIMT) -- With a heavy frost Thursday morning, a Frost Advisory was in place. Even colder conditions are expected into Friday morning, so a Freeze Warning has been hoisted for counties east of the I-35 corridor. This will be considered the "official end of the growing season" for counties that have not had their first freeze yet.

With south winds returning into the weekend, morning low temperatures will skyrocket well above the freezing mark for the foreseeable future.
