New Orleans bicycle second line will roll from the Broad. See where it goes, what follows

Bike Easy, the New Orleans bicycling advocacy group, will hold its annual bicycle second line on Nov. 2 with a morning ride, followed by a party with a fundraiser and resources for bikers.

"This pedal-powered version of the famous, musical second line will parade through the streets of New Orleans and will start and end with a celebration at The Broadside (600 N Broad St). All you need is a bike!" the group's release says.

This family-friendly 10-mile ride will meet at The Broadside for registration at 10 a.m. and rolls at 11 a.m. The festive gathering will be entertained by the New Orleans Johnnys as the ride prepares to set out.

Then, the Treme Brass Band will lead the way as riders roll through the streets of New Orleans with the support of the New Orleans Police Department.
