A huge £20,000 reward has been offered for information about the murder of a man after his body was found on a pavement wrapped in a sheet.

Police have been unable to establish how Derrick Jones, 56, died following the discovery of his body on July 23 in east London.

A forensic examination revealed he had sustained 'some injuries' but the cause of death has not been established.

It is known that he was with friends at a property in Warrior Square on the day before officers had been called to the scene on Walton Road, Ilford, where his body was discovered.

A reward of up to £20,000 is being offered for information about those behind Derrick's death, said the Metropolitan Police.
