Construction of the new White House ballroom is underway, and now the American people know who is paying for it.

White House officials followed through on their promise to release donors for the $300 million (up from $200M) project on Thursday, revealing that some of the largest and most powerful companies and private citizens in the U.S. are helping to foot the bill.

The 90,000-square-foot ballroom is a longtime aspiration of President Donald Trump, who has long desired a larger space to host events.

The ballroom will have a seated capacity of 650 people, more than three times the space in the East Room, which is currently the largest event space in the White House.
