DEARBORN, MI -- Book worms and thrill seekers alike will find a new, immersive literary experience at one of Michigan’s most historic getaways.
The Dearborn Inn, built in 1931, is bringing literary tourism to the forefront with themed guest suites inspired by the homes of icons like Edgar Allan Poe.
From now until the end of the year, guests can stay at a replica home, inspired by Poe’s real-life Bronx cottage.
The cottage was once described as having “taste and gentility” despite its humble design, according to the Inn.
Inside the “Very Poe Suite” you’ll find Victorian Gothic-inspired details, layered in navy blues, onyx and ochre, accented with unexpected patterns and touches of gold.
