CINCINNATI (WXIX) - The City of Cincinnati is planning to investigate the leadership effectiveness of Police Chief Teresa Theetge through an outside law firm, according to councilmember Seth Walsh.
On Thursday, the councilman said the city is in the process of interviewing potential firms as the chief has not shown any signs of resigning.
Theetge is on paid administrative leave following a violent summer and a series of shootings that took place just hours apart Oct. 13 into Oct. 14.
One of the shootings happened at Fountain Square, a popular area for residents and visitors. Two people were shot inside the City Bird restaurant in front of passersby.
Since then, questions surround her leadership abilities.
