A 57-year-old motorcyclist who police say was under the influence of cocaine was arrested following a high-speed chase through Adams and Cumberland counties last month.

Terry Orner, of Adams County, was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude officer, flight to avoid apprehension, trial or punishment, DUI and other related charges, according to court documents.

Bendersville Borough police said a sergeant tried to stop the motorcyclist, who was later identified as Orner, around 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 18.

But Orner failed to stop and sped away from the police car. Police said Orner veered out of his traffic lane and showed behavior consistent with impaired driving.
