Participating in cross country has enhanced the Perrysburg High School experience for brothers Abraham and Eli Kirkham.
“I love the sport. I do track, too. I love the people, the community, the coaches. The extracurriculars brought me to a lot of people, and I don’t want to see them go,” said Abraham, a senior, who was participating in a student-led rally downtown Wednesday in favor of the Nov. 4 levy.
If the five-year, 7.8-mill levy fails, the board of education has approved cutting $6 million from the budget, including sports and extracurriculars.
