AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Valley Public Service Authority Water System has lifted a boil water advisory for some neighbors in Aiken County.
But the Edgefield County Water and Sewer Authority now has a boil order in effect.

Officials say water service in part of Aiken County was interrupted to perform “unforeseen system repairs.”
That opened up the possibility of contamination.
Affected areas included:
Old Cherokee Drive
Parker Drive
Oakdale Drive
Chinaberry Drive
Windsor Drive
Fairview Road
Pineview Drive
Millrose Circle
Purpleheart Tree Lane
Edgefield County
