The Titans placed starting cornerback L’Jarius Sneed on injured reserve Thursday, marking the latest setback of his disappointing tenure in Tennessee.
Sneed will have to miss at least the next four Titans games — a road contest at Indianapolis on Sunday, as well as home matchups with the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans and Seattle Seahawks.
Even if Sneed returns at that point, he will have missed 16 of a possible 28 games over the last two seasons. Sneed sat out the final 12 contests of the 2024 season with a quad injury, and missed most of the 2025 offseason recovering from knee surgery.
Considered one of the game’s better cornerbacks in 2023, his last year in Kansas City, Sneed came to the Titans via trade in March, 2024. Tennessee surrendered a 2025 third-round pick and swapped
