MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Good Thursday afternoon, southern Wisconsin! We’re dealing with another chilly day with northwest winds and scattered clouds, but the bigger story is what’s coming tonight. This morning was already a chilly one for many of our western counties, with wake-up temperatures ranging anywhere from 28 to 31 degrees.

A Freeze Warning has been issued for all of southern Wisconsin beginning overnight through Friday morning as we’re expecting our most significant freeze of the season so far.
