Bruce Power is planning a series of community information sessions about its plan to build a new nuclear generating station at its site in Tiverton.

The sessions to provide the public with opportunities to learn more and ask questions about the Bruce C Project will take place in Goderich on Nov. 4, Owen Sound on Nov. 6 and Walkerton on Nov. 12.

“We’re excited about this opportunity for the Clean Energy Frontier region of Bruce, Grey and Huron counties,” Bruce Power Director of Regulatory Affairs for the Bruce C Project said in a news release. “Our ongoing Life-Extension Program and Project 2030 are securing the future of our existing units and Bruce C provides a long-term opportunity to continue to provide clean energy and drive the local economy.”
