PALMYRA, N.Y. (WROC) — A local charity in Palmyra is spreading kindness one donation at a time, and now one local teen has helped build up that mission in a big way.
The Green Angels is a volunteer-run program that helps families support each other by donating toys, clothes, and other items their children have outgrown. It’s a mission that 17-year-old Blaise Weidmann has been part of since childhood — and when he noticed the group’s old storage shed was falling apart, he saw an opportunity to give back.
“It was rotting quite a lot,” Weidmann said. “It had holes, it didn’t have a foundation, so it was just falling into the ground. I started thinking about what type of shed needed to be here.”
The project became Weidmann’s service requirement to earn his Eagle Scout rank. With help from l
