PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WROC) — The Primetime 585 Spotlight Team of the Week is the Pittsford girls' swimming and diving team.

This team has dominated all of Section V and continued with a win over previously undefeated Fairport, winning eight of the meet's 12 events.

The Panthers have won 128 consecutive dual meet wins and 23 straight Section V Class A titles.

So far, Pittsford has seen seven swimmers and two divers qualify for 10 of the 12 State events, including reigning Section V champion diver Jamie Kotalik.

"I keep to myself and focus on myself during meets," said Kotalik, who also stars on Pittsford's undefeated volleyball team. "When I'm diving with my teammates, though, it's a lot easier to cheer them on. We're just all trying to have fun, and I think we dive better when we have fun.
