HARTFORD, CT. (WFSB) - An arrest was made in a deadly shooting that happened in Hartford in August.

Police say that 22-year-old Courtney Byrd was taken into custody and charged with murder and carrying a pistol without a permit. He is being held on a $950,000 bond.

The incident happened on August 24th at around 1:42 a.m. 25-year-old Niajae Vernon was found by responding officers and later died at the hospital.
