KILLINGLY, CT. (WFSB) - The Allard twins are helping the Killingly Trailblazers chase another state championship.
Hayden and Hunter Allard, twin brothers who have been playing football together since fourth grade, are leading the 5-0 Trailblazers as they sit atop the WFSB Channel 3 Top 10 poll.
The team has 19 returning starters from last year’s undefeated state championship team.
“We lean on each other for like everything, and it’s like awesome because we’re so close,” said Hayden Allard.
The twins’ bond extends beyond the field, creating a competitive dynamic that pushes both players to their limits.
“Me and Hayden always talk about it at home, and it makes us closer and it’s like playing with your best friend,” said Hunter Allard.
