The Kaibab National Forest is planning prescribed fire operations on the Tusayan Ranger District beginning Friday , Oct. 24 pending all required approvals.

According to the release from the forest service, the work is estimated to continue through the weekend and operations on the Williams Ranger District may begin next week as weather conditions allow. The planned prescribed fire areas include:
