ARNOLDS PARK, Iowa — City departments have relocated to temporary facilities after the old Arnolds Park City Hall was demolished to make way for a new municipal complex.
The demolition marked the start of a 13-month construction project that began with groundbreaking in August. City Hall now operates from a unit at Lake Center Mall, with the library located nearby. The fire and police departments moved to the former overhead door company building.
“We have all relocated to different areas of the city,” said Linda Nase, City Clerk and Zoning Administrator at Arnolds Park.
Services remain accessible
Residents can access city services at the temporary City Hall for permits, utility bill payments, garbage bags and general inquiries. Planning and Zoning, Board of Adjustments, and City Counc
