SEATTLE — Alaska Airlines is experiencing an outage that is affecting operations across its network, the airline announced.
A temporary ground stop has been put in place as the airline works to resolve the technical issues.
"Alaska Airlines is experiencing an IT outage affecting operations. A temporary ground stop is in place. We apologize for the inconvenience," the airline said in a statement.
The airline is urging passengers scheduled to fly tonight to check their flight status before heading to the airport.
The cause of the outage and the expected duration of the ground stop have not been disclosed.
