PACIFIC, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Nearly two years after being shot 14 times by her then-boyfriend, Christina Horsfall is defying odds, learning to walk again and preparing to face her alleged attacker in court.
The incident, which also left her 3-year-old daughter with gunshot wounds, is a stark reminder as October marks Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Horsfall’s former boyfriend, 46-year-old Quentin Howard Senior, of Pacific, faces trial next week on six felony counts, including first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action. Authorities arrested Howard within 30 minutes of the Oct. 14, 2023, shooting, locating him in a ditch using a thermal imaging drone.
