NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Some Tennessee cattle farmers have been sizzling over recent comments by President Donald Trump about importing more beef from Argentina to lower beef prices for consumers.

“The only price we have that's high is beef, and we’ll get that down," Trump told reporters this week. "One of the things we’re thinking about doing is beef from Argentina."

The comment sparked backlash from cattle farmers and ranchers across the U.S., including the president of the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association, Gary Dering, who posted the following statement on social media:
