KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — It was an exciting and momentum building first season for Tennessee women's basketball Head Coach Kim Caldwell. Following a run to the Sweet 16, all eyes turn to what the Lady Vols can do under Caldwell in year two.
Caldwell sat down with 6 Sports reporter Casey Kay to discuss basketball and her life off the court.
This year's roster includes five freshman from a highly-rated recruiting class. The last time Caldwell had that many freshman? They went on to win a NCAA Division II national title in their senior year.
As for topics off the court, the two chat about Caldwell's nine-month old son, Conor, who Caldwell and her husband, Justin welcomed during the height of SEC play.
