HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- A woman was arrested Thursday after authorities say she drove into a UPS truck while under the influence.
An affidavit obtained by Eyewitness News says deputies were called to a property damage accident on Covert Avenue. The UPS driver told deputies she was collecting mail, when she felt the truck get struck by another vehicle. She went on to say she witnessed the driver drive into a nearby parking stall and get out of their vehicle.
Deputies identified the driver as Alexis Baxton. Deputies say Baxton appeared to under the influence of alcohol. She was taken to a hospital to be medically cleared, then arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating a vehicle with an ACE oof 0.15 or more.
