HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - A Hastings man is now facing multiple felony charges including first-degree sexual assault and incest in Adams County Court following his arrest Tuesday.

Local4 is not naming the suspect to protect the identity of the victim.

Police arrested the 30-year-old man Tuesday morning after receiving a tip Monday through the Department of Health and Human Services hotline.

Investigators said he is the 6-year-old victim’s father.

The charges against him are first and third degree sexual assault, child abuse and incest.

Bond was set at 10 percent of $250,000. His next hearing is scheduled for Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. in Adams County.
