Jaden Schwartz scored twice as the Seattle Kraken snapped the Jets’ five-game win streak in a 3-0 victory on Thursday night at Canada Life Centre.

The winning goal came early in the second period when Schwartz managed to beat Alex Iafallo to the back post before burying a rebound behind Connor Hellebuyck at 2:28. The goal was Schwartz’s third of the season.

The goal was set up when Shane Wright’s shot from the left corner ricocheted off the body of Hellebuyck, the puck bouncing to Schwartz who was skating unmarked towards the right post, with Iafallo a step behind.
