SARATOGA SPRINGS, Utah (ABC4) — After four decades of service, the Saratoga Springs Fire Chief will be retiring.

Saratoga Springs Fire Chief Kess Campbell announced this week that he will be retiring on October 30, 2025. He has worked as the fire chief for the past 14 years, and he previously worked with Las Vegas Fire & Rescue for 25 years.

"I've been very blessed to have the career that I have had," Chief Campbell said about his time in Las Vegas and Saratoga Springs, "it's just been an amazing transformation to be a part of. The organization when I got here had 6 full-time employees and about 54 part-time firefighters and we have, over the years, been able to absolutely reverse that."
