SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is anticipating heavy weekend delays on westbound US-6.
Due to fall break overlapping with the final weekend of deer hunting season, UDOT shared that heavier traffic is expected.
Sunday will be the busiest travel day, with delays of up to one hour expected to increase at 1 p.m.
UDOT shared that work on the safety project at US-6 from Diamond Fork Road to the U.S. Route 89 junction in Thistle will temporarily pause to ease congestion.
Updates on traffic can be found on the UDOT website.
