BOSTON — For the second straight game , the Bruins wasted a dramatic comeback.

After scoring two goals in 25 seconds to climb out of a two-goal hole, Boston gave up a goal to Troy Terry with their defenseman out of position with 4:33 left to propel the Ducks to a 7-5 win at TD Garden.

The loss was the Bruins’ sixth straight, putting the Boston’s season-starting three-game win streak further in the rearview mirror.

Boston hosts the Avalanche on Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The Bruins led 1-0 and 2-1 on goals by Casey Mittlestadt and Morgan Geekie and they were tied 3-3 after the second period thanks to Mason Lohrei’s first goal of the season.
