The Indian advertising industry lost one of its brightest creative minds as Piyush Pandey passed away on Thursday. A name synonymous with storytelling and emotion-driven campaigns, Pandey spent over four decades with Ogilvy India, transforming the face of Indian advertising. He joined Ogilvy in 1982, stepping into an English-dominated industry at the age of 27 and went on to change its language, tone, and soul forever. PM Narendra Modi mourned his death as he took to his social media and wrote, "Shri Piyush Pandey Ji was admired for his creativity. He made a monumental contribution to the world of advertising and communications. I will fondly cherish our interactions over the years. Saddened by his passing away.
