The second Prescription Drug Take-Back Day of 2025 is coming up this Saturday October 25th.
The Drug Enforcement Administration works with thousands of law enforcement partners across the nation to encourage Americans to bring in their unused or expired medications, so they don't get into the wrong hands.
Many local police departments will be open Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., as well as DRBA Police at ILG Airport and Veterans Affairs Police at the VA Medical Center on Kirkwood Highway. At Wilmington Police Headquarters on North Walnut Street, the right lane of travel will be designated for drop-off of expired medications. A permanent collection bin is also located in the WPD lobby.
