Heavy rains are expected to move across Mississippi starting Saturday night through Sunday morning. According to the National Weather Service, areas along and west of the Mississippi River and south of I-20 could experience localized flash flooding. Northern Mississippi

Today will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the lower 50s.

Central Mississippi

Today will be sunny with patchy smoke in the morning. Highs will be in the lower 80s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the mid-50s.

Southern Mississippi

Today will be sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 50s.
