Not as chilly in Acadiana this morning but still comfortably cool with temperatures in the upper 50s. The weather turns slightly warmer and more humid today with highs near the mid 80s. Clouds will increase through the day but we are not expecting any showers and storms this Friday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.
Rounds of showers and storms will move into Acadiana late Saturday morning and could last all the way through Sunday morning. There is a low threat for localized flash flooding as much of Acadiana will receive 1 to 3" inches of rain with isolated higher amounts over 4" inches. Also, there is a low risk for severe weather as a few storms could produce damaging winds, isolated tornadoes, and large hail.
