Not as chilly in Acadiana this morning with temperatures in the lower 60s to start the day. Hotter and more humid weather returns for the afternoon as highs push into the upper 80s today under a partly sunny sky. Scattered showers and storms are possible too, from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Severe weather is not expected but a few stronger storms are possible. Cooler weather and clearing skies will return tonight with lows back in the 50s.

The weather stays pleasant for the latter half of the workweek. Warm and humid weather makes a comeback this weekend along with scattered rain.
