NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Lingering moisture in the air has led to some isolated to spotty rain showers that have mostly been confined to the higher elevations to eastern areas with periodically some high-elevation snow in the mix in the Northern Mountains.
Below-freezing temperatures are confined to more areas to the north through western areas, while everywhere else from central areas of the Rio Grande Valley to the southeast is mostly ranging from the upper 30s to the 50s.
Clearer, calmer, cooler, and drier conditions will be in store today compared to yesterday as the tail-end of the departing system will lead to isolated pockets of precipitation in the mountains through the Northeast Highlands. Near-normal to below-normal high temperatures will mostly range in the upper 50s to the low 80s
