Advertising icon Piyush Pandey, the man who gave India some of its most memorable campaigns and redefined the language of modern advertising, passed away in Mumbai on Thursday at the age of 70. The executive chairman and chief creative officer (worldwide) of Ogilvy, Mr Pandey had been battling a severe infection, according to a statement from the agency. His last rites will be held on Saturday at Shivaji Park, Mumbai.
