Sweet treat! Ferrero celebrates launch of new product at Brantford facility

Ferrero Canada is celebrating a sweet milestone at its Brantford facility.

Company executives, employees and local dignitaries gathered Thursday for the official launch of Ferrero’s new chocolate squares production line.

“This is the first time that Ferrero has launched a major global product outside of Europe,” Michael Lindsey, chief business officer and president of Ferrero North America, said.

“It’s the first time we’ve built a new line for a new product and it’s the first time we’ve introduced a new product into a market outside of Europe.”

Lindsey said the company is incredibly proud of the new product line adding it shows the confidence Ferrero has in its Brantford facility.
