KILLEEN, Texas — A person is in custody following a police investigation in Killeen.

According to police, the incident started around 10 a.m. Friday on Wellcrest Drive, with officials asking residents to avoid the immediate area as officers worked the scene.

Shortly after, Killeen police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said the incident involved a domestic situation in which a man inside the house was refusing to come out.

While officials didn't share any details about the incident, the man was eventually taken into custody.

Police did not share what charges, if any, the man could face.
