LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The community is rallying around a Louisville man who survived a serious motorcycle incident and they are organizing several fundraisers to help him with medical expenses.
Eugene Sullivan was thrown from a motorcycle during a crash in September in Louisville. He broke his arms, wrists and suffered multiple broken teeth and a dislocated jaw.
Though his friends say his survival was a miracle, he has been saddled with a lot of medical bills due to the crash.
They are coming together to organize a car show to help offset some of those expenses. A car show benefit will be held on Nov. 2 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Derby City Pizza located at 12900 Dixie Highway in Louisville.
Entry for cars is $15. There will be prizes given and all proceeds go to Eugene.
