The 11th annual “ Superior Spooktacular Parade ” returns Saturday.
“It’s grown over the years as more businesses and organizations and citizens have wanted to get involved,” said Carolyn Nelson-Kavajecz, the director of the parade.
However, the day of fun starts off on a different foot.
The day begins with Superior Nightmare 5K , a race where runners can dress up in their Halloween costume.
Then, at 12:30 p.m., the spooky parade begins.
The parade runs down 21st street and ends at Hammond Park.
However, the festivities do not end at the finish line.
Halloween at Hammond Park takes place from noon to 6 p.m. and will have vendors, food trucks and live music.
