KING COUNTY, Wash. — King County Council Vice Chair Reagan Dunn sent a letter to the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) on Thursday, urging "stronger action" to prevent more bridge strikes like the one that happened on Tuesday in Cle Elum.

Dunn suggested the development of the "Stupid Motorist Law" that will hold those who drive tall loads accountable. He also states that he wants to prevent future overpasses and bridge strikes across Washington. This letter comes less than two days after the third bridge strike within the last two months.
